Christianity Without A Kite String
Topic: Love Verse: 1 Corinthians 13:1
Pastor Art Azurdia preaching "Christianity Without A Kite String," part one of a new series titled, "The Most Excellent Way" that will take us through the thirteenth chapter of 1 Corinthians.
God is love and that God loves his people is set forth as axiomatic in all of Biblical religion.
Because God has loved us so infinitely, and because we have come to experience this love so personally, it is now God's intention that we express this same kind of love demonstrably to each other. This kind of Christian love demolishes any inclination of self, it denies self for the sake of its object, this is a new way of being human. This new way of being human can only be formed from the gospel—the redemptive act of love by God in the giving of his son Jesus Christ. Without love nothing else matters.
